McLeod Health welcomes these new doctors


McLeod Health welcomes David T. Lake, MD, MS, and Joshua P. Rouhan, MD, to the medical staff.

Dr Lake joins the Department of Inpatient Medicine at McLeod Regional Medical Center as a hospitalist. He comes to McLeod after completing his residency training at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans. A native of South Carolina, Dr. Lake was born in St. Matthews and raised in the town of Santee. He received his undergraduate degree from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in Charleston. He holds a Master of Science degree, a concentration in Biology in Ecology and Systematics from San Francisco State University, and received his MD from the University of Carolina School of Medicine. from the South to Columbia. Dr Lake and his wife, Emily, are the parents of one son and two daughters.

Dr Rouhan joins McLeod emergency physicians at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Prior to arriving at McLeod, Dr. Rouhan was trained in the Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. In November 2018, he won the Most Patients Seen Award. He also got a chief appointment in 2020-2021. Past experiences include 900 hours of volunteer work for the Greenville Memorial Hospital and patient transportation for the Greenville Health System. Dr Rouhan is originally from Charleston, South Carolina, and graduated from the University of South Carolina before completing medical school. He and his wife, Haley, live happily with their four children.
